At F.L.E, we believe fashion is more than what you wear — it’s who you are. That’s why we’ve created "F.L.E Women Around the World," a series dedicated to celebrating the women who embody our brand through their stories, their strength, and their style. Our very first feature is a woman who truly represents all of this.
Meet Beverley

Beverley is a mother of three independent children and a proud grandmother of five, with grandchildren ranging from 5 to 15 years old. Her life has been built on care, patience, and impact. She previously worked as a driving instructor — a role she deeply enjoyed. One of her most memorable achievements was helping a deaf student pass her driving test on the first attempt. This is a testament to her dedication and belief in others. Today, she continues to serve people through her role in customer service.
A Life Rooted in Spirituality
Beverley describes herself as a deeply spiritual person who believes in the Most High Creator. She has worn her locks for over 30 years, a powerful expression of identity, discipline, and spiritual commitment. She always keeps them covered when she steps out.

Her Love for African Fashion
For Beverley, African clothing is more than style — it is emotion. “The colours and the various designs enable me to feel confident, beautiful and joyful.” Her connection to African prints reflects a deeper sense of identity and pride.
Why FLE Resonates With Her
Beverley’s words capture the heart of the brand: “FLE doesn’t just sell clothes. It celebrates African culture, heritage and individuality.” She continues: “It instils pride in us as a people, knowing we are supporting a great African clothing company.” She also highlights something we hold dear — the personal touch: “I love the handwritten notes… it was very heartfelt.”
Style Meets Celebration
Beverley chose to wear her FLE outfit to celebrate her Earthstrong — a moment of joy, reflection, and gratitude. In that moment, she didn’t just wear F.L.E; she embodied it.

Fashion is a powerful tool for self-expression. It allows us to showcase our heritage and individuality. Each piece of clothing tells a story. At F.L.E, we want to help you tell yours!
Whether it’s a vibrant print or a unique design, our clothing is designed to empower you. When you wear F.L.E, you wear a piece of culture and history. You celebrate your roots while making a bold statement.
The Impact of African Prints
African prints are not just fabric; they are a celebration of culture. Each pattern has a meaning, a story behind it. Wearing these prints connects us to our ancestors and our heritage. It’s a way to honour our past while embracing the present.
When Beverley wears her F.L.E outfits, she feels a connection to her roots. She embodies the spirit of the brand, celebrating her identity with pride. This is what we aim to achieve with every piece we create.
